You can now complete quick tasks like replying to a conversation, checking on the status of a rideshare or delivery, and editing your shopping list by streaming your Android phone’s apps on your Chromebook. To use App Streaming, make sure that Phone Hub is enabled on your Chromebook by following the steps in this Help Article

With the Window Layout Menu, it’s easier to organize your windows and apps. So you can do things like easily take notes while watching a lecture. You can even float a window always on top for easy reference.

Check it out by hovering over the “Maximize” button in the top right corner of any window, or by trying the keyboard shortcut (Search + Z). And for tablets and convertibles, just swipe down from the top center of the window.

With the new Audio Settings page, users can control the volume of their input and output devices, switch device sources and manage more advanced features such as noise cancellation if their Chromebook supports it.

This launch adds the ability to use shared albums within Google Photos as source for wallpaper and screensaver. Now users can personalize their ChromeOS experience with Google Photos albums shared with family and friends. Please note that others can continue to add/edit photos within these shared albums while the album is being used for wallpaper or screensaver in ChromeOS.

We've added 2 new "earcons" to the ChromeVox screen-reader to indicate when a user has started selected text and completed selecting text. Earcons are sounds that play to let you know about what is happening on your computer, much more quickly than it could be described in words.

Now you can learn about popular apps available on your Chromebook from the Explore app. Discover apps for everything from entertainment, to creativity, gaming, and more. To check it out, just open the Explore app and tap the new “App and games” tab on the navigation bar. Be sure to check back often to see new content and get even more from your Chromebook.
